Financial Help and Assistance Programs
The St John Stewardship Ministry offers periodic programs designed to provide guidance, support and tools for sound family financial stewardship. Programs have included:
- Financial Peace University - a spiritual and biblical 13 week in depth program developed by financial guru Dave Ramsey with family financial tools designed to help participants become debt free and build financial security.
- Total Money Make Over - a one day simulcast seminar by financial guru Dave Ramsey with spiritual based financial management focus and tools.
- Thrivent Financial Seminars - programs offered through this Lutheran fraternal financial group include 1 -2 hour seminars around a variety of topics like financial management, college saving, retirement and estate planning to name a few.
These programs and others that may provide financial support to the congregation, while developing sound stewardship principles are promoted via our monthly newsletter, The Eagle, in addition to information presented in our weekly worship bulletin. Individual inquiries for specific needs can be addressed to members of the Stewardship committee as identified through the church office.
