St. John Music Ministry
Music has been called "the living voice of the Gospel." Lutherans enjoy a rich heritage of beautiful and uplifting music. Our worship services are filled with wonderful hymns, musical responses, choral and instrumental music. Hymns and service music are selected from Lutheran Worship, Hymnal Supplement '98, and other sources. Within our worship we provide a wide variety of music from several centuries and a great deal of music by many of the best composers of our own day. Music ministry opportunities are offered for virtually all ages in singing choirs, and instruments.
The musicians of St. John Lutheran Church rehearse weekly and participate regularly in the worship services. All groups have time for prayer, spiritual growth and fellowship incorporated into their weekly rehearsals. Newcomers are welcome at any time.
