St. John Church Library & Bookstore

Library

Our Church Library, located in the Ministry, is open before and after our 9:45 bible studies and during regular office hours.  The library contains over 1600 books on a wide variety of topics including theology, devotions, family life, Lutheran history, church doctrines, Christian history, history of Biblical events, other religions, Christian fiction, and classic literature.  It also contains a children’s section offering Bible stories, Christian fiction series, and classic literature.  Any member may check out a book, by writing your name and date on the book card located inside the book and placing the card in the file box.  Please limit checkout time to one month.

Bookstore

St. John has a bookstore/gift shop located in the Worship Center Commons area where a wide variety of Bibles, devotional materials, and Christian gifts can be found.  The bookstore is run by Sisters in Service (formerly known as LWML) whose mission it is to donate the proceeds to various needs within the Church.  Hours for the bookstore are:  following the 8:30 a.m. worship service until 9:45 a.m. (Bible study begins); 10:40 a.m. until 11 a.m. service; reopens until 12:15.
