Lutheran Talk Radio - Expands Sunday Nights On 100.7 Fm The Word – KKHT Issues, Etc! 7 pm To 8 pm And Truth Alive! Sunday Night 8 pm To 8:30 pm.

Games Party:  Trinity Lutheran Church, at 5201 Spring Cypress Road, Klein, is sponsoring a Games Party on July 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Room 116 of their Family Life Center.  This is for everyone in the community to include ladies, men, and teens.  The cost is $6 and the proceeds, which will be matched by Thrivent, will go to Trinity’s mission fund.  A salad lunch will be served.

Camp Lone Star Barbecue and Live Auction:  Sunday, July 27, with an outdoor worship from 11 a.m. to noon, a barbecue meal at noon with a freewill offering, and a live auction from 1 to 3 p.m.  Camp Lone Star is a part of Lutheran Outdoors Ministry of Texas and is located in LaGrange, TX.  Call 800.362.2078 or go to www.lomt.com for directions.

Programs Benefitting St. John Lutheran Church:  St. John is a recipient of the Randalls Good Neighbor Program.  Randalls will pay 1% of your total grocery purchases to St. John.  If you are not enrolled and would like to be, please pick up a Good Neighbor Program form from the narthex or the back of the gym.  Also, the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program is beginning a new program.  St. John is in the process of applying for the new program which will run on a yearly basis.

GuideBook Advertisers:  GuideBook is a church directory of membership addresses and phone numbers as well as ministry and other church related information.  GuideBook Publishing will print and direct mail it to every household in our church at no cost.  It is scheduled to be printed in July 2008.
